In Pakistan, there are over 3 million people trapped as indentured servants to a debt that can never be repaid in one of 20,000 brick making factories. In this culture, children inherit the debt of their parents leading to generational slavery in these families.

As of June 2024, Victorious Living International has freed 69 families from slavery.

The Crisis

In Pakistan, over 20,000 brick kilns operate with an estimated 3 to 4 million bonded laborers, many of whom are Christians and marginalized minorities. Families become ensnared in this cycle through debts as small as $100, often incurred for basic needs like medical expenses. These debts, compounded by exorbitant interest rates and exploitative practices, become insurmountable, leading to lifelong servitude that spans generations.
